We take breeding as a very serious responsibility at MarKat Ranch. UVM Pembroke was chosen as the foundation sire for the ranch, not only for his beauty and elegance, but also for his government back ground.

We are very fortunate to have Pem standing at Bishop Lane Farm in Penngrove, CA. for the 2007 season where he is lovingly cared for by Shilo and Eric Smith.  Their facility is set up for the breeding stallion and broodmares and babies. Pem is selectively bred to outside mares. The following is required before any semen will be shipped or any mare will be covered.

All mares must have a current negative culture and that culture must be received at Bishop Lane Farm where Pem is standing.

Sorry, but there can be no exceptions to this.
