We continue to take breeding very seriously at MarKat, pairing up the right mare and stallion for an exceptional result. Whether it is a home or an outside breeding our goal is a very satisfied customer. We have changed our collection facility to Woodland Stallion Station. We find that they take excellent care of the stallions when they are in residence and of mares that are brought in to to be bred.
We will be working with UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital as we prepare to freeze semen of the stallions.
Rest assured, that if you are breeding to a MarKat owned stallion, complete satisfaction is our goal. Our foundation sire, UVM Pembroke is no longer standing to the public. He has passed the reins to the next generation of exceptional stallions.

Wintergreen Don Diego

Wintergreen Don Diego was purchased by MarKat Morgan Horses from Wintergreen Morgan’s of Woodland CA, our thanks to Ann Taylor for giving us the opportunity to own such a fine stallion. Since Wintergreen Don Diego’s arrival at MarKat Morgans, he has expanded his accomplishment. Added to his already fine skills of traditional dressage, where he is starting 4th level, and hunter over fences, where he was a World Champion Morgan several times, Diego has added Carriage Driving, Western Dressage, and now Trail to his “bag of tricks”. All this makes him the true definition of a versatile Morgan horse. Wintergreen Don Diego stands to the public with Private Treaty. We are excitedly awaiting the arrival of his next MarKat foals in April 2014. Foals are expected out of Skyridge Lady Prosecutor and Skyridge Tiger Lily. Remy, as he is affectionately known, is a gorgeous bay stallion who has great athletic talent, personality, and a great disposition. He was first shown at the end of the 2011 show season and walked away as the Grand Champion Stallion. He is expected to enter the performance show ring in 2012 in pleasure driving. We have great expectations for him. Remy is ready to carry on the Pembroke tradition. He has his first foal on the ground and she is a beauty.
